First Class First Aid take the Health & Safety of our course attendees very seriously and review our high standards on a regular basis. We have produced the following information to reassure all attendees that we take the COVID-19 infection outbreak very seriously and have highlighted the measures we have in place in order to maintain the continued safety and welfare for all of our participants who train with us.
In line with ongoing guidance from the government, as of their latest guidance issued on 25/05/2020 we can confirm that our First Aid Training course program will resume from the 4th July 2020. We anticipate that our course venues (Hotels) to be operating after this date in a capacity to accomodate us safely. Of course we will keep this under constant review. As you will see below, we are still required to deliver essential training and can provide ONSITE First Aid and Fire Training for businesses and individuals subject to additional safety measures. In addition, for all future course and booking enquries, it is business as normal so feel free to contact us with any enquiries you may have or book your place on our future courses listed on our "Course Dates" page.
In line with the latest HSE guidance, where 2 metre social distancing can be maintained, we are available to come to you at your place of work (or home) to deliver "Essential On Site Training". This can be held for individuals or small groups and can also give you "Reassurance of Training with those you know". Please contact us directly on 01202 245709 to discuss a tailored quotation/offer. Face masks will be provided free of charge by FCFA if required.
We are aware that the UK Government have issued further advice for the public regarding 'Social Gatherings', and for people to work from home 'where possible'. We should note that First Aid Training is not a "Social Gathering" but essential training that is needed by workplaces, particularly when it is not possible to work from home.
We frequently update our procedures based on evidence from the NHS, World Health Organisation (WHO), Health & Safety Executive (HSE) and Professional Training Organisations.
